Our most popular wireless design for outdoor 5.8GHz FWA (fixed wireless) applications!

The Freedom CPE is based upon the Atheros AR5312 Wireless SoC and can deliver dual-band, single channel, 2.4GHz/5.8GHz capability and offers a small form-factor and flexible networking options.

The Freedom CPE can be powered from a very robust 802.3af compliant Power over Ethernet interface or a wide input 12-28Vdc PSU.

Maximum transmission rate is 108Mbit/sec with an RF power of up to 20dBm. Superior receive sensitivity has helped our clients operate Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) links at up to 60km.

The Freedom CPE operates as either a traditional AP or as a Point to (multi)Point bridge by configuring the on-board webserver interface. Command-Line (CLI) and SNMP based management is also possible.

Freedom FWA

Our most powerful, multi radio solution for wireless outdoor (fixed wireless) applications!

The Freedom FWA is based upon the Atheros AR7161 Wireless SoC and can deliver dual-band, multi channel, 2.4GHz/5.8GHz capability and offers a total maximum throughput of over 600 Mbit/sec, when 3 radios are fitted.

The Freedom FWA supports gigabit enabled Power over Ethernet, but can also be operated from a 12V supply.

Maximum transmission rate per radio is 300Mbit/sec, delivering over 210 Mbit/sec usable throughput, with a typical RF output power of 26dBm.

The Freedom FWA is ideally suited for point to point or point to multipoint applications, but can also operate as a traditional Access Point. Datasheet.

Freedom Nx1 (CPE-V2)
The Freedom Nx1 is based upon Atheros' AR7242 platform and offers an impressive specification, including:

Freedom Nx2
Based upon the AR7161 WLAN-NPU, the Freedom Nx2 incorporates all of the key components needed to deliver high-performance, secure, dual concurrent AP/Router/Bridge 802.11n solutions. The simultaneous, dual radio 3x3 MIMO capability enables a PHY bandwidth of 600Mbit/sec to be achieved. Datasheet.

Freedom AP
Based upon the AR5312 Wireless SoC. The Freedom AP delivers dual-band, dual channel, 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz simultaneously in a 100mmx170mm footprint. The maximum transmission rate is 108Mbit/sec on both channels with an RF power of up to 20dBm per channel.

The Freedom AP is particularly suited to dual channel hot-spot or mesh type applications where it is desirable to offer local 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz backhaul concurrently.

Power over Ethernet is offered as standard, or via an 8Vdc PSU. Datasheet.

Freedom Communicator
Based upon the AR6101 ROCm SoC. The Freedom Communicator delivers dual-band, 2.4GHz/5.8GHz voice over WiFi capability. Low power consumption, SIP/PushToTalk capability and rugged construction, make this an ideal choice in industrial/harsh environments.
